Detectives investigating an attempted robbery in Wilsonton on Sunday have released images of items that might have been involved in the incident.

The robbery occurred about 6.45pm when a juvenile entered the store, threatened the storekeeper with a hockey stick and demanded money.

The storekeeper refused to comply and attempted to remove the hockey stick from the boy.

He then fled the scene with the hockey stick and another male who was waiting outside.

No money or property was taken and no one was physically injured.

Police are urging anyone who may recognise the hockey stick, gloves or balaclava (pictured) to contact Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 as it may assist detectives with their investigations.

The items were found near the Wine Drive convenience store.

One boy is described as about 12 years old, 130cm tall, with medium build and fair complexion, wearing a black hooded top with grey sleeves, dark pants and red running shoes.

The second boy is described as being 130cm tall, wearing a dark top, dark pants with dark shoes.
